Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Survival Vietnamese ("we", "us") collects when you use our website and classes, how we use it, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, email martin@empowergaia.org.

What we collect

• Your account details — your name and email address, and an optional profile photo you upload.
• If you sign in with Google — your name, email address and Google profile picture, shared by Google with your permission. We do not receive your Google password.
• Your learning — the modules you open and the phrases you mark as learned, so we can show your progress.
• Your classes — the 1-to-1 sessions you book, which we read from our scheduling provider (Calendly) to keep your account in step.
• What you told us at sign-up — your level, goals and the kind of language you want to learn.

Payments are handled by third-party payment providers. We do not see or store your full card details.

How we use it

• To create and run your account, and to sign you in.
• To show your classes, your progress and the right lessons for you.
• To let Yen prepare for and teach your 1-to-1 classes.
• To contact you about your account, classes and payments.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

Only the services that make the product work:

• Google — if you choose to sign in with Google.
• Calendly — our scheduling tool, when you book a class.
• Payment providers — to take payment for classes.
• Hosting and email providers — to run the site and send you sign-in and account emails.

Each handles your data under its own privacy policy.

Cookies

We use a small sign-in cookie to keep you logged in. It is not used for tracking or advertising.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your account information while your account is active. You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete your account and its data at any time — just email martin@empowergaia.org.

Age

This service is for adults. Some lessons contain explicit, adult language and are intended only for people aged 18 or over. The service is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. See our Terms.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for significant changes, let you know.
