Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Survival Vietnamese ("we", "us") when you use our website, lessons and 1-to-1 classes. By creating an account or signing in, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Adult content — you must be 18 or over
Some lessons teach real, everyday Vietnamese that includes explicit and adult language (for example the "Unfiltered" lessons). This content is intended only for adults.
By choosing to see or use that content, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older. If you are under 18, please use the standard lessons and do not open the adult content. We may ask you to confirm your age before showing it.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for what happens under your account. Give us accurate details and keep them up to date. One person, one account.
Classes and bookings
- Classes are one-to-one sessions with Yen, booked through our scheduling tool.
- Class packs are valid for six months from the day you buy them, unless we say otherwise.
- You can reschedule or cancel a class using the links on your account or in your booking confirmation. Please give reasonable notice so the time can be offered to someone else.
Payments and refunds
Prices are shown before you pay, and payment is taken by our payment providers. If something goes wrong with a payment or a class, contact us at martin@empowergaia.org and we will do our best to put it right.
Using the service fairly
The lessons, audio and materials are for your own learning. Please do not copy, share, resell or republish them. Do not misuse the service or try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to it.
Our content
All lesson content, audio, text and design remain ours (or our licensors'). You get a personal, non-transferable right to use them while your account is active.
No guarantees
We work hard to make the lessons useful, but we cannot promise a particular result or that the service will always be available or error-free. The service is provided "as is", to the extent the law allows.
Ending your account
You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms; we will change the date above and, for significant changes, let you know. Continuing to use the service means you accept the updated terms.
